Just like there are dozens of pain pills on the store shelves there are dozens of natural ways to relieve your pain. But pain relief is one thing and correcting the cause is another. If I want pain relief, I'm NOT going to take a pain pill. Why? Even though they are inexpensive and cheap they are chemical based and have side effects. Most people won't get side effects at first but with time they start to happen. Like an irritated stomach... the beginning of a stomach ulcer. High blood pressure.....then you go to the doctor and he prescribes another pill for that. Ran into a guy at Walgreens that I had met playing tennis a couple years ago. I have used magnets also for pain relief and was able to prevent a knee surgery about 20 years ago because I took ACTION and decided to try Magnets. Whether it's magnets, Life Wave Patches, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Prescription drugs, OTC drugs you will use whatever you feel comfortable with and or a habit of doing. Health Tips for low back pain sufferers. DO NOT sit for more than 30-45 minutes. Sit up straight don't slouch which puts more pressure on your mid to low back. Get up and go drink some preferably filtered alkaline Kangen water. Even if you just get up for 1-2 minutes will help the constant pressure on your spine and discs. At home lay down if you watch a lot of TV. Better to limit TV to 30-60 minutes. Go for a walk. Use a heating pad 15-20 minutes to soothe tight muscles. You can also use an ice pack for 10-15 minutes when you finish with the heat pad. Do some simple stretches, Yoga, TaiChi, Qigong etc. are all excellent. Massage, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Chiropractic, can also be a life saver.Many people take Motrin Advil, or prescription drugs because their medical doctor recommended prescribed that. For short term use like a week or two is not so dangerous but if you take it longer your risks of nasty side effects increases with time and dosage. BEWARE!! Over the counter and prescription drugs are the leading cause for stomach bleeding ulcers, liver & kidney damage and many other side effects. Has anyone else seen this TV commercial? I thought I had seen it all but this is the stupidest product to be developed. If you suffer with dry mouth from taking multiple medications....GET OFF THOSE DRUGS!!! Drink water!!!! Look up the side effects from taking yet another drug concoction. There are actually several Biotene products including a toothpaste. Anyone taking this should have an S stamped on their forehead.
Neck Pain Cure. Do not sleep on you stomach or use two pillows if on your back. Do not have "Text Neck" posture. Do stretching and strengthening neck exercises. Use a heating pad 10-15 minutes and do the same with an ice pack 2-3 X's a day. Get neck and upper shoulder massages and get good Chiropractic Adjustments. Decompress the neck using a cervical traction device, Inversion machine or slant board. Have your someone gently stretch your neck every day using a towel or pillowcase like I demonstrated on a video in July. There are websites that tell you what you have is a muscle imbalance and that Doctors, Chiropractors or Physical Therapist won't help you. While muscle imbalances can be part of why you have neck pain it is NOT the only reason for neck pain!!!.
