But I did not say that. Much to my regret I only told her “don’t worry about it”. She then asked me for my business card to which I replied, “I don’t have any on me. Saul can give you my phone number”.
That was over a week ago. She has not called. She probably went ahead and had the needle EMG study done which will likely come back normal since she is not having any problems with the motor function of the nerves. In other words she is not losing strength. She is only having tingling and numbness in her arm and hand. Tingling and numbness is a function of the sensory part of the nerve which will not show up on the needle EMG study.
She may still call. Many patients seek Chiropractic care as a last resort after they have tried everything including failed surgeries. She may continue to be brainwashed about what her internist client told her and she may never call. It will be her loss if she never calls.
So the moral of the story is …..Chiropractic is a smart choice. It is a safe, extremely effective and natural treatment for disc herniations. But you need to go to the right Chiropractor. You can read more about How To Find The Right Chiropractor For You on this website.
Chiropractic will help you FEEL BETTER right away. It gets to the root cause of your problem.
In my next blog I will dispel another healthcare myth that has been fed to the American people. I heard one tonight as I was listening to the television while making myself a salad. It went something like this….”Do you suffer from acid reflux disease?” Acid reflux is NOT a disease.
I will discuss why the medical profession calls it a disease, how to correct it and most importantly how to prevent acid reflux or sometimes called GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) from ever starting. Stay tuned.
